Mercedes-Benz will commence sales of the GLA in Germany today, though deliveries will start only in March next year. Our friends at MB Passion Blog have obtained the brochure scans of the A Class-based crossover and here they are.
The GLA will be available in the following trim lines - Style, Urban, AMG, Exclusive and AMG Exclusive. The AMG line (this is not to be confused with the GLA 45 AMG which is still a while away) is something we haven't spoken of before, and its the first time we're seeing it. It sports a completely different front bumper with larger air intakes, a rear bumper with vents on either side (much like the AMG lines of the A and CLA Class).
AMG light-alloy, five-spoke, 18-inch wheels are also seen on this variant.
Inside, the full-leather interior features ARTICO seats with red contrast stitching. The decorative elements such as the surrounds for the aircon vents and the music system are made out of aluminium. Even the steering wheel gets contrast stitching and a flat-bottom with perforations. In the Exclusive and AMG Exclusive packages, the GLA gets its dashboard in a color coordinated wood finish.
The GLA can be had with two petrol engines, or a diesel engine available in two states of tune. Mercedes' 4MATIC all-wheel drive system can be specified on the GLA 200 CDI, 220 CDI and 250.
