The bespoke McLaren 650S MSO created by McLaren Special Operations made its first public appearance at the Super Paddock area of the 2014 Goodwood FOS.
The 650S MSO which can be specified in Coupe or Spider body style is on a limited production run of 50 units (combined), as a result of positive responses received for the MSO 650S Coupe concept that was unveiled in China earlier this year.
The McLaren Special Operations division was started in 2011 specializes to create bespoke vehicles with a variety of personalization options.
The MSO 650S comes with numerous carbon fibre styling enhancements with a satin finish such as extended side blades with MSO branding. The rear bumper is made up of three pieces, with a carbon fibre centre section, complemented by a more aggressive diffuser.
The limited production model is available in three exterior color options formulated by the MSO division - Papaya Spark, Agrigan Black and Sarigan Quartz. Rounding off the exterior exclusivity is a set of 10-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels with palladium finish, fastened by titanium bolts.
The interior of the MSO 650S is upholstered in carbon black and Alcantara combo with satin lacquered carbon fibre detailing. The aircon vents and powertrain switches get gloss finish, and the carbon fibre door sills with MSO branding completes the interior customization.
The McLaren MSO 650S Coupe is priced at £252,500 (around INR 2.58 crore) while the MSO 650S Spider would set customers back by £272,500 (around INR 2.79 crore). Deliveries are scheduled to commence before the end of the year.
