A Facebook user has shared an image of a Maruti Vitara Brezza with the seven-slot Jeep inspired grille. Multiple customized examples of the high selling compact SUV have surfaced in the past including one by DC Design.
The Jeep Compass or Jeep Grand Cherokee inspired seven-slat grille appears to be the only modification. It gels well with the Blazing Red with Midnight Black dual-tone exterior finish. The owner paid INR 7,500 for the custom job. The black cladding around the fog lamp seems to be missing. Aftermarket fitments for that area could be on the cards as well.
Aside from aftermarket customization, Maruti offers a range of accessories and fitments via the iCreate personalization scheme. iCreate offers Vitara Brezza customers close to 90 different customization combinations across five different packages including Sports Accelerate package, Sports Velocity package, Glamour Glitz package, Glamour Elegance package and the Urban Dynamic package. Customers can also handpick individual accessories via the ‘A La Carte’ option.
MSIL offers the Vitara Brezza with a single 1.3 L DDiS 200 diesel engine option mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Prices start INR 7.24 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi) onwards for the base LDi trim. The range-topping ZDi+ trim with a dual tone paint option retails for INR 9.69 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
