The Russian Police has placed an order for a fleet of Lada Vestas, which has been showcased in the their livery at a conference that commemorates the occasion. The Lada Vesta was launched in the country on November 25, and is being rolled out phase wise in Russia.
The Lada Vesta is based on a new platform 'B/C', that is developed by AvtoVAZ with inputs from the Renault-Nissan Alliance. The Hyundai Solaris and VW Polo sedan rival measures 4,410 mm in length, 1,764 mm in width, 1,497 mm in height, 2,635 mm in wheelbase and has a boot volume of 480 litres.
The Vesta is offered in three trim levels: Classic, Comfort and Luxe. Features include a 7-inch touchscreen display with Bluetooth connectivity, FM/AM, USB and AUX ports, steering mounted controls, heated front seats, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, automatic headlights, and automatic wipers.

Its engines includes a 1.6-litre petrol engine which produces 106 hp and 87 hp. A 5-speed manual transmission and 5-speed AMT are the gearbox options available. There is also a Nissan-sourced 1.6-litre petrol engine that delivers 114 bhp, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Prices for the Lada Vesta start from 514,000 rubles, 570,000 rubles and 608,000 rubles for the Classic, Comfort and Luxe trims, respectively.
