Kia revealed the Seltos in India a few weeks back. While some of the information on its features and engine list was made available at the unveiling event, in-depth specifications and variants deets were kept under the wraps. Now a youtube channel claims to have exclusive information on the variant line-up for the Kia Seltos.
It is said that Kia Seltos will be made available in a total of 8 variants, out of which 5 will be available with the 1.5-litre diesel and 3 will belong to 1.5-litre petrol and 1.4-litre turbo petrol motors. The diesel-powered Seltos will be made available in TE, TK, TK+, TX and TX+ trims, while the petrol-powered Seltos will be sold in GTK, GTX and GTX+ variants.
Kia's first offering for the Indian market will be brimming with features right from the word go. The base diesel (TE) variant will comprise of features such as Voice recognition, Bluetooth connectivity, Follow me home headlamps, Tilt and telescopic steering adjust, steering mounted audio controls, ABS + EBD and 2 airbags as standard. Going up in the range, the TK variant will be equipped with additional features like LED DRLs, cruise control, smart push engine start-stop system and electrically foldable mirrors.
The top-of-the-line TX+ variant will come equipped with features such as 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, Hill Assist Control, Vehicle Stability Management, Traction Control, Brake Assist, 7 inch MID, 8 speakers Bose audio system ventilated seats, Solar UV glass, eight way power adjustable seat, wireless charging, 360 degree camera view, driver rear view monitor, ventilated seats and much more.

The Kia Seltos will be sold with three engine choices - a 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol engine churning out 115 PS/144 Nm, a 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol engine delivering 140 PS/242 Nm and a 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine delivering 115 PS/250 Nm. The transmission options available will include a 6-speed manual gearbox which will be available as standard, an optional CVT for the 1.5-litre petrol engine variant, a 7-speed DCT for the 1.4L petrol engine and a 6-speed torque converter automatic option for the 1.5-litre oil burner.
