Revealed at the 2014 New York Auto Show, Infiniti is again showcasing the range-topping QX80 Limited Edition at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The Limited Edition is packed to the gills with equipment that is otherwise optional in the standard Q80. The only option presented to the customer is the choice of exterior shades.
Based on the luxurious Nissan Patrol, the Infiniti QX80 Limited Edition differentiates itself with an exclusive set of dark-tinted LED headlamps and taillights, LED lighting under the brush finish running boards, dark chrome finish on the grille surround, side vents, roof rails and crossbars, A-pillars, door handles, license plate surround and side mirror caps, which gives the car a discrete yet premium look.
Complimenting the exterior package are a massive set of 22-inch alloy wheels finished in dark chrome. Apart from the standard color palette of 3 shades that are Liquid Platinum, Black Obsidian and Majestic White, the Limited Edition comes with 3 extra colors that are exclusive to the model, which are Imperial Black, Mocha Almond, and Dakar Bronze.
Inside, the QX80 Limited Edition is upholstered in the finest of leather that is finished in a unique Truffle brown color, featuring a unique seat quilting and silver contrast piping and stitching, ultrasuede leather headliner, and branded illuminated door sills. The interior is trimmed with wood while the dashboard is wrapped in a combination of black and brown leather. It comes fitted with a range of equipment like the Theater and Deluxe Technology pack for entertainment, as well as safety features like the Intelligent Cruise control (limits speed automatically) and Blind Spot Warning.
Otherwise, it is powered by a standard 5.6-liter V8 that produces 400 hp and 560 Nm of torque. It is coupled to a 7-speed automatic transmission that drives all four wheels via a four-wheel-drive system that features an Auto, 4H (High range) and 4L (Low range) modes.
