To launch in Brazil in early 2017.
Instead of the 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift), the highlight of Ford's stand at the ongoing 2016 Sao Paulo Auto Show is the Ford Ka Trail (Ford Figo Cross), which is a slightly spruced up version of the Ford Ka hatchback. It will launch for sale in Brazil in early 2017.
The Ka Trail comes with the usual crossover touches such as a higher ground clearance, black-plastic cladding around the wheel arches, faux silver skid plate, 15-inch gun metal alloy rims wrapped with dual-purpose tires, 'Trail' decal across the side profile, black ORVM caps, door handles and roof rails.
Ford hasn't revealed technical details on the Ka Trail at its unveil. Under the hood is likely the 1.5L Sigma four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 110 hp and 146 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the front wheels.
