The Ford Figo is not exactly a modifier's delight. The conservative styling doesn't offer much scope when it comes to adding body kits and aggressive bumpers.

However, Novel Motor Company, an authorized new and used car dealer for Ford in South Africa, has made its own special edition of the made-in-India Ford Figo with minimal decals and large alloy wheels. The result is a sporty yellow hatchback that gathers considerable attention.
Called as the Ford Figo Novel Sport Edition, the car is available in a Bright Yellow color with twin black racing stripes running along the length of the car. There are also horizontal stripes at the lower part of the doors with the Novel Sport logo.
The car gets fatter tires and sporty dual tone alloy wheels with chrome rims and black spokes. There are no other changes to the exterior of the car. The interior also remains intact.
The modified Ford Figo Novel Sport Edition will be available across Novel's Ford outlets at Paarl, Goodwood and Stellenbosch. The cost of the modification is not yet announced. The South Africa spec Figo is powered by a 1.4 litre petrol engine that produces 62 bhp.
The Ford Figo is a dynamic and fun to drive hatchback and the modifications go well with the car's character.
