Is the Figo Aspire without the boot
Ford India today confirmed that it will launch the new Ford Figo on September 23.
Although the hatch is based on the Figo Aspire, or vice versa, it will get some individualization with interior exterior colours.
Almost every feature on the Ford Figo Aspire is carried forward to the Ford Figo hatchback including the headlamps and front fascia, dashboard, seats and panels, as well as the cabin features. Some of the features expected in the top-end Ford Figo include 6 airbags, automatic climate control, Ford SYNC 2.0 infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, reverse parking sensor, and alloy wheels.
Powering the second generation Figo will be the current 1.2-litre Ti-VCT petrol and 1.5-litre TDCi diesel engines. While the 5-speed manual transmission will also be shared with the Aspire, it is unclear if the 6-speed PowerShift automatic transmission that comes with the 1.5L petrol engine will be offered in the hatch.
