Fiat has launched a special edition on the Linea in Brazil. Called the Linea Blackmotion, the special edition benefits from several visual touches and feature upgrades.
On the outside, the Linea Blackmotion gets black wing mirror caps, 17-inch dull-finished alloy wheels, black highlights in the front bumper, and Blackmotion badges on the front doors. Inside, the Linea Blackmotion opts for an all-black theme with a black dashboard and door panels.
It also receives silver pedals, and Fiat's touchscreen UConnect 5-inch infotainment system with reverse parking camera and sensors. Additionally, the seats and steering wheel are finished in leather.
The Linea Blackmotion is based on the Linea Essence trim, and is priced at a premium of BRL 7,230 (INR 1.28 lakhs). It is powered by a 1.8-liter 16 valve engine capable of 130 bhp (132 bhp with ethanol) and 184 Nm (189 Nm with ethanol) of torque, and is paired to Fiat's 5-speed Dualogic AMT gearbox.
For the Indian market, FCA India introduced the Linea Elegante special edition in August this year with a touchscreen infotainment system and several cosmetic tweaks, priced at INR 9.99 lakhs, ex-Showroom. Certain reports state that an Abarth Linea, with the 140 hp tune of the 1.4-liter T-Jet engine is also under consideration.
