FCA India had announced a limited edition on the 2014 Fiat Linea, called the Fiat Linea Elegante, priced at INR 9.99 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi, on 31 July. Here are some detailed images of the vehicle from Ben Sam Jacob from Team Fiat Moto Club.
The Linea Elegante's exterior is spruced up with a full bodykit with add-ons for the bumpers, side skirts, 16-inch alloy wheels, a black grille and roof, body decals and a rear spoiler. In the interior, a new touchscreen 6.5-inch entertainment and navigation system, special carpets, door sills and seat covers are the extras.
There are no mechanical enhancements to the Linea Elegante, but the variant will come only with the 1.3-liter diesel engine that produces 93 PS at 4,000 rpm and 209 Nm at 2,000 rpm, paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It manages to return a ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of 20.4 km/l.
