Cosmetic changes are relatively subtle but make the Fortuner look sportier.
Fiar Design, a leading ‘Aero Parts' manufacturer in Thailand, has released a new body kit for the new Toyota Fortuner, an earlier version of which was imported and fitted by a Fortuner owner in India.
Like we saw in that particular Fortuner, the Fiar Design 'FD-1' bodykit comprises of an extended front bumper with faded silver garnish across the central portion, larger running boards for both sides, faded silver garnish across the deeper side skirt and a sportier new rear bumper with splashes of chrome as well as faded silver embellishers. The exhaust pipe can be configured to feature a chrome tip or split into two for a dual exhaust layout housed in the bumper.
Also part of the body kit are 20-inch Lenso RT-Concave matte black multi-spoke alloy wheels shod with 285/50 R20 section Goodyear Eagle GT II tyres, further beefing up the exterior look.

Also available is 2.7L VVT-i 4-cyl petrol engine with 164 hp and 245 Nm. Both can be had with a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic.
The Fortuner Diesel is capable of averaging a fuel mileage of 12 km/L (manual) and 11 km/L (automatic).
