Mitsubishi has announced 40 units of the Lancer Evolution X FQ-440 MR in a special edition flavour in the United Kingdom to celebrate the subsidiary's 40th anniversary.
The special edition Evo X will be available exclusively in Frost White color and is equipped with forged 18” BBS alloy wheels, bi-xenon headlights, PIAA Motorsport silicone windscreen wiper blades and front fog lamps.
Inside the FQ-440 MR is fitted with goodies like Recaro branded leather bucket seats, Rockford Fosgate premium audio system, leather sports steering wheel with audio and cruise controls, Navigation system with 7-inch LCD touch screen, Bluetooth and USB functionality, Keyless Operation System (KOS) with push button start and CAT 1 approved alarm immobilizer.
The Lancer Evolution X FQ-440 MR is powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a bespoke engine ECU re-map and now produces 440 bhp and 558 Nm of torque thanks to modifications like the HKS turbo unit, high-flow fuel injectors, Janspeed intake & intercooler piping kit along with a Janspeed exhaust system with a high-flow sports catalytic convertor and tubular manifold.
The engine is mated to 6-Speed Twin Clutch Sports Shift Transmission (SST) and comes with Super-All Wheel Control (S-AWC) with full time 4WD system. The special edition is equipped with Alcon braking system and Eibach coil springs.
Additionally the car will be fitted with a data recorder to note down details such as driving style, performance, vehicle diagnostics, and present location. The QG5 Lancer Evolution X FQ-440 MR will be priced £50,000 (INR 49.9 Lakhs) and will be supplied with a 3 year or 36,000 mile warranty.
