The 2019 Ford Everest (facelift) carries subtle styling enhancements with the changes mainly under the bonnet.

The 2019 Ford Everest (facelift) carries subtle design updates that can be found mostly at the front-end. The revised fascia features a new radiator grille with three single horizontal slats, a bolder front bumper and a frame for the lower air intake. The only change in the side profile is courtesy of the new six-double-spoke wheels.

The updated equipment list has two new convenience-enhancing features - passive keyless entry and push-button start. Also on offer is a foot-activated power tailgate. The safety net now features an Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system that detects both vehicles and pedestrians.

As is the case with the India-spec Ford Endeavour, the pre-facelift Thai-spec Ford Everest was sold with a 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that outputs 160 PS/385 Nm and a 3.2-litre turbocharged five-cylinder oil burner that produces 200 PS/470 Nm. The 2019 Ford Everest (facelift), however, has been on sale with a new 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that offers 180 PS/420 Nm of torque and a new 2.0-litre bi-turbo oil-burner that develops 213 PS/500 Nm of torque.

The new 2.0-litre turbo-diesel and bi-turbo diesel engines have been carried over from the new Ford Ranger and the new Ford Ranger Raptor respectively. While the earlier set of motors came mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, the new powertrains come paired with a 10-speed automatic unit. 4x4 hardware is available only on the top-spec variant.
