The Tata Tiago NRG is now on sale in India, with prices starting at INR 5.50 lakh*. The new variant offers more rough-road capability and a tougher styling to the company’s popular city car.
The Tata Tiago NRG has a more robust styling with various cosmetic enhancements. It features black cladding all around the lower body, faux skid plates, black hood applique, ORVMs, roof and roof rails, 14-inch dual-tone DurAlloy wheels and a muscular finisher on the tailgate. The 10 mm higher ground clearance (180 mm) gives it a more imposing stance and helps it to tackle bumps and potholes better.
The NRG variant has an all-black interior with contrasting orange highlights. It features “denim” inspired fabric upholstery with contrast orange stitch pattern as well. Tata Motors has developed it on the basis of the range-topping XZ grade, and so, 8-speaker sound system, height adjustable driver’s seat, electrically adjustable ORVMS, ABS, dual front airbags and driver seatbelt reminder all carried over. A major exclusive to this variant is a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
