With the 2018 Honda Jazz's launch in India closing in, more images have started surfacing online. In the latest, Team-BHP forum member pannag has posted pictures showing the new model’s interior in more detail.
The 2018 Honda Jazz has the same interior layout as the current model. The top-of-the-line VX grade seen here gets the cabin entirely in black once again, with a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob. With the mid-life update, the CVT option has made it to the VX grade. In the old model, it is available in only the S and V grades. We had detailed the complete grade-specific revisions in a report this week.
With the latest update, the Honda Jazz has gained passive keyless entry, push start/stop button with white and red illumination and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support and IR remote control. Another feature new to the car is voice commands, which was offered in the old model but in only the Privilege Edition.
The exterior of the new Honda Jazz has no changes to write about. Honda has merely extended the LED tail lights to continue into the vertical reflectors on the tailgate. Radiant Red and Lunar Silver Metallic colours of the 2018 Honda Jazz have replaced the Carnelian Red Pearl and Alabaster Silver Metallic colours.

The Honda Jazz is available with a 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT and a 1.5-litre i-DTEC diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine produces 90 PS and 110 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine delivers 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque. The engines and transmissions, as well as their combinations, will remain unchanged post the MY2018 update.
The new Honda Jazz will go on sale in India on 19 July. Pre-orders will likely commence on 15 July.
