The Tata Nexon AMT is currently available exclusively in a top-of-the-line XZA+ grade. Soon, Tata Motors will offer it in XMA and XZA grades as well, a certification document obtained by IAB has revealed.
Going by the company’s nomenclature for equipment lines, it is safe to assume that the XMA and XZA grades of the Tata Nexon AMT will have features similar to the XM and XZ grades of the Tata Nexon MT.
The Tata Nexon AMT XMA will likely come with features like follow-me-home headlamps, dual-tone wheel covers, power tailgate, basic centre antenna, electrically adjustable ORVMs, remote central locking, all four power windows, coat hooks (rear), ConnectNext infotainment system, four speakers, steering-mounted audio, phone and voice controls, 12V power outlet (front), MID with real-time fuel economy indicator, rear parking sensors and Speed Sensing Auto door lock.
The Tata Nexon AMT XZA is expected to feature DRLs, electrically adjustment and electrically folding ORVMs in body colour, body-coloured door handles, roof rails, Shark-fin antenna, automatic climate control, cooled glove box, height adjustable driver seat, ConnectNext infotainment system 6.5-inch floating central display, Android Auto and navigation, four speakers and four tweeters, fast USB charger, 12V power outlets (front and rear), rear parcel shelf, day and night IRVM and rear parking camera.
Like the XZA+ grade, the XMA and XZA will feature a creep function and Smart Hill Assist, but they will probably come without passive keyless entry and the wearable PEPS key.
The Tata Nexon AMT’s XZA+ grade is available with the 1.2L Revotron petrol engine and the 1.5L Revotorq diesel engine. For its XMA and XZA grades, we can confirm the availability of only the 1.5L Revotorq diesel engine at the moment.

The AMT option in the Tata Nexon diesel comes at a premium of INR 70,200*. Keeping that as reference, XMA and XZA grades may cost around INR 8.54 lakh* and INR 9.69 lakh* respectively.
