FCA India intends to launch the Jeep Compass Trailhawk in the coming months. It was showcased at an event in March to dealers and potential customers. Ahead of the Indian rollout, Autocar India has published new details on the range-topping variant of the SUV.
Jeep will offer the Compass Trailhawk with panoramic sunroof and cruise control. Both features are unavailable in any grade of the Compass currently on sale here. Aside from these features, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk boasts distinctive bumpers, Ruby Red recovery hooks, dark grey accents, black anti-glare hood decal, and unique 17-inch alloy wheels with off-road tyres.
The launch of the Compass Traihawk will also mark the addition of a diesel automatic variant to the lineup. It will join the existing 1.4 L petrol with 6-speed manual, 1.4 L petrol with 7-speed automatic, and 2.0 L diesel with 6-speed manual drivetrain options.
