Last month, the India-spec Toyota Yaris was showcased for the first time in the country at the Auto Expo. With its launch barely a month away, Toyota has commenced promotional activities for the sedan. The company has released a new video of the Toyota Yaris to tease some of its key features.

As seen in the video, the Toyota Yaris is equipped with a number of first-in-segment features. There are 12 of them in total, Toyota says, including roof-mounted air vents with ambient illumination, power driver seat, acoustic and vibration control glass, 60:40 split rear seats, adjustable rear centre headrest, 4.2-inch TFT MID with Eco wallet, hand/air gesture control for the infotainment system, all wheel disc brakes, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), front parking sensors, 7 airbags and tail lamps with LED line guide.

Other highlights of the sedan include projector headlamps with LED line guide, LED DRLs, Shark-fin antenna, piano black interior, rear power outlets, rear sunshade, Hill-start Assist Control (HSC) and Vehicle Stability Control (VSC). Toyota will offer the Yaris with only a 1.5-litre Dual VVT-i petrol engine coupled to a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission. This engine is likely to produce around 105 hp and 140 Nm of torque.
