The Honda Activa 5G trumps the Jupiter marginally in terms of power and torque. However, the link type suspension of the Activa has remained unchanged in the latest generation scooter. The Jupiter enjoys the benefit of telescopic fork and a rear gas-charged monoshock for better ride quality. The Jupiter also has an option of a front disc brake for superior braking.

The Activa has 1-litre bigger underseat storage. The Jupiter gets a convenient external fuel filler. Both scooters sport an optional charging port under the seat. The LED headlamp of the Activa will be more energy efficient than the traditional halogen unit. Coming to the price, the base variant of the Jupiter undercuts the Activa by INR 2,494, thus offering marginally better value for money overall.
