Tata Motors introduced IMPACT Design at Auto Expo 2016, and this design language has achieved its great success. At Auto Expo 2018, the company will introduce an evolution of it - IMPACT Design 2.0.
IMPACT Design 2.0 is a sharper and a more contemporary expression of IMPACT Design. The models designed using IMPACT Design 2.0 will have segment-leading wheel sizes and strong fender volumes for an athletic stance as well as strong proportions for a commendable road presence. Clean and uncluttered surfaces will aid for a futuristic expression. Getting a little into the specifics, Tata Motors says that its future models will feature a front grille that blends into the headlamps, Diamond shaped windows and a new ‘Tri-Arrow' pattern.
IMPACT Design 2.0 will bring a clean, clutter-free and emotive interior design to the cars. Along with the use of high-quality materials and premium and luxurious colour combinations, the company promises segment-leading HMI (Human Machine Interface) screens and intuitive and clear UI and graphics.

Tata Motors will use the IMPACT Design 2.0 design language first for the Tata X451 hatchback and the Tata H5 (Tata Q501) compact SUV. The latter will reportedly arrive by the end of this year, followed by the Maruti Baleno rival sometime in 2019.
