Gearing up for the launch of the fifth-gen Honda CR-V in Japan next year, Honda has revealed the Honda CR-V Custom Concept. The concept Honda CR-V will debut at the 2018 Tokyo Auto Salon next month.
The Honda CR-V Custom Concept features special styling parts and a colour scheme consisting of silver, grey and black touches for a sportier exterior. At the front, it gets Modulo radiator grille, Modulo bumper and Modulo LED fog lights. The Honda logo, upper grille borders and fog light housing appear to have a grey colour.
On the sides, grey and silver inserts on the rocker panels, silver ORVM housing and 19-inch black wheels are seen on the Honda HR-V Custom Concept. At the rear, Honda mentions fitment of Modulo bumper, and it seems like are blacked-out tail lamps and a black roof spoiler as well. Also worth noticing, are the black roof and integrated black roof rails.

Honda will offer the new generation Honda CR-V in Japan with three-row seating configuration and the two-motor i-MMD Sport hybrid powertrain. There’s no word on availability of the two-row version that could keep the entry-price lower. For those not willing to shell more for the frugal hybrid powertrain, Honda may offer the 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo petrol engine. The market launch is expected to take place in the summer of 2018.
