The Commando Sport features a 961cc parallel twin that's good for 80 PS and 90 Nm.

According to Garner, the Commando range will be priced in the range of INR 10- 20 lakh. The brand will enter India with a 30-unit limited edition CBU bike that is exclusive for the Indian market. It will be available in early 2018. It will be the first bike that the company will launch after its joint venture with Kinetic’s MotoRoyale. The bike maker will be using MotoRoyale’s existing dealer network in Pune, Delhi, Bombay, Bangalore, and Chennai to sell the motorcycle. Norton intends to have 12-15 dealers towards the end of next year to satisfy the planned sales volumes. Under the 49:51 joint venture between Norton and Motoroyale respectively, the CKD products are expected by the end of 2018. Norton Motorcycles is also working on a Royal Enfield 650 rival.
