A.P. Honda Co. Ltd., Honda’s subsidiary in Thailand has showcased the ABS variant of the Honda CB150R ExMotion and the HRC Edition at the 2017 Thai Motor Expo.
The company launched the Honda CB150R ExMotion in the country in September, this year. The design of the bike is based on the ‘ExMotion…Life in Exciting Motion’ concept. It fuses classic styling with modern elements so that the go matches the show. The lighting system is all-LED, and the instrument cluster is fully digital. Powering the motorcycle is a 149cc DOHC 4-valve engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The powerplant meets Euro 6 emission standards and pairs with a 6-speed transmission. The engine sits inside an Inner Pivot type diamond type frame.
The bike gets a 41 mm upside-down front fork, which is identical to the one in Honda X-ADV 750. The rear employs a monoshock unit. For braking, the bike features a 296 mm front disc with radial callipers and a 220 mm rear disc, both with ABS. A 110-section front and 150-section rear wrap the 17-inch alloy wheels. The price of the ABS variant starts from THB 109,800.
The Honda CB150R ExMotion HRC Edition features red painted handlebars and exclusive HRC graphics on the bodywork. The fuel tank also gets faux mesh panelling and a tank pad. The headlight comes with a protective grille for a more muscular look. The tail tidy kit enhances the look of the rear rubber, while the stubby exhaust gets a blue end cap. The motorcycle also features a bash plate and rim stickers.
