News regarding the 2018 Toyota Rush has been coming in thick and fast from Indonesia since Tuesday. After revealing the SUV completely via a set of leaked images, AutonetMagz and its sources have shed light on the features the new gen Rush will offer.
Toyota will offer the Rush with full LED headlamps accompanied by LED DRLs. The stop lamps will feature LED graphics as well. Its ORVMs are electrically retractable. The Toyota Rush G trim rides on 16-inch alloys while the TRD Sportivo trim gets 17-inch dual tone alloys. Other exterior features include a rear spoiler and a shark fin antenna.
A reverse parking camera, smart key, and engine stop/start will be offered. The TRD Sportivo variant gets an automatic climate control setup while the G variant gets manual air conditioning. Both trims come equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen. However, the top-end trim adds NFC and eight speakers. Top-end trims are expected to get 6-airbags.
While the 2018 Daihatsu Terios will be quite similar to the new Rush, both in form and in terms of the features on offer, there will be subtle differences. The report claims that no variant of the Terios will get 6-airbags. It will, however, feature a 360-degree bird's eye view.
The report also adds the 2018 Toyota Rush will receive a new engine with Dual VVT-i technology. However, it does not shed any light on its specifications.
