Nissan showcased the 2018 Nissan X-Trail at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show. The facelifted Nissan X-Trail arrived in the UAE in October this year.
The 2018 Nissan X-Trail is 4,690 mm long, 1,830 mm wide and 1,740 mm tall. It is powered by the QR25DE 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 169 hp at 6,000 rpm and 233 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The Xtronic continuously variable transmission is standard in the compact SUV. An all-wheel drive system is available optionally.
LED headlights with LED DRLs, V-motion front grille, 19-inch alloy wheels, LED tail lights, rear spoiler, motion activated tailgate with foot sensor and power panoramic moon roof are the main exterior features of the 2018 Nissan X-Trail. Comfort, convenience and entertainment features include 6-way power driver’s seat with power lumbar, 4-way power front-passenger seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather seat upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearshift knob and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation.
Nissan has equipped the new X-Trail with a slew of safety and driver assistance features, including six airbags, Vehicle Dynamic Control with Traction Control System, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Moving Object Detection, hill start assist and 360-degree camera.
The 2018 Nissan X-Trail is available in 5- and 7-seat seating layouts in the UAE. Its prices start at AED 87,000 (INR 15,30,122.32) and go up to AED 1,29,000 (INR 22,68,802.07). The compact SUV competes with the likes of the Honda CR-V and VW Tiguan.
