Honda Motorcycle’s subsidiary in Thailand, AP Honda Co. Ltd., launched the Honda CB150R ExMotion on September 5. Here are live images of the motorcycle shared by MZ Cary Cars via Facebook of an example on display at a dealership.
The Honda CB150R ExMotion is based on the Honda 150SS Racer concept that was showcased at BIMS 2017 in March. The design follows the “ExMotion…Life in Exciting Motion” philosophy. It features LED headlamps with black horizontal bar splitting the cicular profile etched with ‘Honda’. The bike also gets an LED tail lamp and LED turn indicators. The upside down front forks finished in golden colour add a bit of contrast to the single tone paint job devoid of decals. This particular example is finished in Asteroid Black. Other colour options include Matte Laurel Green, Millennium Red, and Pearl Cadet Grey.

Power comes from a 149 cc DOHC 4-valve unit with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The engine is Euro 6 compliant and it is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The company hasn’t specified the exact power and torque outputs.
The Honda CB150R ExMotion is based on an Inner Pivot type diamond type frame. The front gets inverted 41 mm forks, while there is a monshock suspension at the rear. Braking duties are handled by a 296 mm front disc with radial mount 4 pot callipers coupled to ABS and G Sensor borrowed from the Honda CBR1000RR and a 220 mm disc with ABS at the rear.
Prices of the Honda CB150R ExMotion start at THB 99,800. Additionally, there are three special edition variants as well. These include CB150R Street Café restricted to 500 units, with an introductory price starting from THB 135,200 and Honda CB150R Scramble Café limited to 1,000 units, priced starting from THB 118,400. In October 2017, the Honda CB150R Moriwaki edition will also be launched, which will be restricted to 500 units.
