Toyota Kirloskar Motor has launched the TRD Sportivo variant of the second generation Toyota Fortuner in India. The Indian-spec 2017 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo looks very similar to the Indonesian-spec version.
The 2017 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo gets a more rugged styling from TRD radiator grille and lower grille cover, front bumper spoiler, 18-inch TRD alloy wheels and TRD rear bumper spoiler. TRD Sportivo stickers on the sides and TRD Sportivo badge on the tailgate let onlookers know the model's special status.
Inside, the Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo has upholstery with red stitching. Bi-beam LED projector headlamps with LED DRL, LED fog lamps, LED rear combination lamps, power tailgate with height adjust memory, 8-way driver power seat, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, dual-zone automatic climate control system, park assist with reverse camera and sensors, seven airbags, VSC and HAC are a few other equipment highlights.
The 2017 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo is 4,795 mm long, 1,855 mm wide and 1,835 mm tall. It has no dimension changes from the regular model. It is available only with the 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine that produces 177 PS and 450 Nm of torque. A 6-speed automatic transmission is standard. A four-wheel drive system is unavailable in the TRD Sportivo variant.

The 2017 Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo costs INR 31,01,500 (ex-showroom Delhi). The all-new Fortuner TRD Sportivo is now available to order, exclusively in the Pearl White colour.
