Honda’s off-road friendly offering, the Honda CRF 250L is on display at the 2017 NADA Auto Show in Nepal. Syakar Trading Company, Honda’s authorised distributor showcased the motorcycle.
The Honda CRF 250L is available in the country at a price of NPR 1,050,000. The bike draws power from a 249.6cc single cylinder DOHC engine with liquid cooling. The motor pushes out 24.7 PS of power at 8500 rpm and 22.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,750 rpm. The engine works in tandem with a 6-speed gearbox.

A 43 mm upside down front fork and a Prolink rear monoshock hold the semi double cradle frame with an aluminium swingarm. The motorcycle rolls on 21 inch front and 18 inch rear spoke wheels, shod with off-road spec tyres. Brakes include petal discs on both ends with switchable dual-channel ABS.

The motorcycle gets a digital instrument cluster and a 7.8-litre fuel tank. The bike features a skid plate and the ground clearance stands at 211 mm. The CRF 250L weighs 146 kg kerb, and the seat height stands at 875 mm. Honda also sells the upmarket variant- the Honda CRF 250L Rally in the country. The rally version commands a premium of NPR 2,25,000 over the standard bike.
