Sykar Trading Company, Honda's authorised distributor in Nepal, is showcasing the Honda Civic sedan at the NADA Auto Show 2017. Here are the India-bound sedan's photographs from the show.
The Honda Civic is already on sale in Nepal. Underpinned by a new platform that later formed the basis for the all-new Honda CR-V and then the all-new Honda Accord, it is now in its tenth generation. The Civic sedan is 4,644 mm long, 1,799 mm wide and 1,416 mm tall. The wheelbase spans a length of 2,698 mm.
The Nepali-spec Honda Civic is powered by the 1.6-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that develops 123 hp at 6,500 rpm and 151 Nm of torque at 4,300 rpm. A continuously variable transmission channels power to the front wheels. Internationally, 1.5-, 1.8- and 2.0-litre petrol engines are also available. As for the transmission choices, other markets have the option of a 6-speed manual transmission.
The Nepali-spec Honda Civic sedan is available in one standard configuration, which retails at NPR 75,00,000 (INR 46,82,377.43). 16-inch alloy wheels, all-black interior, cruise control, steering-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, automatic climate control and electric parking brake, are some of the highlights of the compact sedan.
