50 more outlets planned this fiscal.
Maruti Suzuki has announced that it has inaugurated the 200th NEXA dealership in the country. NEXA LB Nagar (Kalyani Motors) in Hyderabad is the latest to join the growing list of premium Maruti retailers.
Maruti Suzuki's NEXA retail channel now enjoys a presence in 121 cities and has sold over 1,85,0000 vehicles during its run of 18 months. By March 2017, when NEXA completes 20 months of its launch, around 2,00,000 vehicles are expected to have been sold through NEXA dealerships. The company plans to have 250 of these premium outlets by the end of FY 2016-17.
Maruti Suzuki sells three vehicles through the NEXA dealerships: Maruti S-Cross, Maruti Baleno and Maruti Ignis. The Maruti Ignis was added just last month to the portfolio and has received over 10,000 bookings. Later this year, the company will give a facelift to the Maruti Ciaz and from then, start selling the sedan through NEXA dealerships.
