The fourth generation Chevrolet Spark that was introduced two years back is finally set to hit the Philippines. According to a report from CarGuide.ph, the 2017 Chevrolet Spark will be launched in the country in March 2017.
The fourth generation Chevrolet Spark features an all-new design and incorporates the brand's new family face. The redesigned Spark has a slightly longer wheelbase and is about 40 mm lower compared to the third-gen Spark.
The new generation Chevrolet Spark measures 3,595 mm in length, 1,595 mm in width and 1,475 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,385 mm. It is available with the 1.0-litre Ecotec three-cylinder engine that produces 75 PS (73.94 hp) at 6,500 rpm and 9.7 kg.m (95.12 Nm) of torque at 4,500 rpm as well as the bigger and more potent 1.4-litre Ecotec four-cylinder engine that develops 73 kW (97.86 hp) at 6,200 rpm and 124 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm.
16-inch alloy wheels, dot-matrix LCD instrument cluster display, 7-inch MyLink touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, heated steering wheel and 8 airbags are some of the key features of the 2017 Chevrolet Spark.
The all-new Spark is expected to debut at the 2017 Manila International Auto Show in early April. The model India will get as the next-gen Chevrolet Beat is a different car and is based on the same platform as the current model.
