The Honda CBR150R in Indonesia is very different than the one sold in India and gets a lighter chassis.
Introduced in February 2016, the Honda CBR150R in Indonesia is the Big Red manufacturer’s answer to the Yamaha R15 v2.0. IwanBanaran has shared a few images of a CBR150R modified resemble the Honda CBR250RR.
Using the fairing and the visor of the quarter litre machine, the bike has been fitted with new projector headlamps instead of the LEDs seen in the stock version. Rear seat resembles the one in the Honda CBR150R but gets a racing cowl. The mudguard is a replica of the one seen in the CBR 250RR.
Styled by Anugerah Design of Indonesia, the engine and exhaust remain the same. The 150 cc single cylinder liquid cooled machine is capable of producing 17.1 PS at 9,000 rpm and 13.7 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. Coupled to the engine is a 6 speed gearbox.
The instrumentation though is new. The clip-ons, taillamp and the fuel tank have also been modified.
The report adds that the entire cost of modification of this Honda CBR150R is IDR 5.4 million.
