"Our customers look at the exterior and go “woah” but then they look at the interior and go “Huh?" said van den Acker.

Speaking to Auto Express, Laurens van den Acker, Renault’s Senior Vice President of corporate design, confirmed that the next-gen Renault Clio will arrive after the next-gen Renault Megane R.S., and will most likely be unveiled at the 2018 Paris Motor Show. The design chief also revealed some information about the all-new model's design.

Big changes in terms of aesthetics, materials and technology are on the cards. The exterior would be in line with the new family design seen on the Renault Megane.

The outspoken van den Acker said -

Our customers look at the exterior and go “woah” but then they look at the interior and go “Huh?"

He added -

We need to make sure our next interiors live up to the standards of the exterior, we have more people in Renault working on interiors than ever before, and we are pushing a revolution.
