Previews the next generation mid-size SUV.
An Infiniti concept previewing a future model has made its world debut at the Auto China 2016 in Beijing. Called the Infiniti QX Sport Concept, it previews the design of the next generation mid-size SUV.
The QX Sport concept measures 4,600 mm long, 1,900 mm wide, 1,650 mm high, and has a ground clearance of 230 mm. The design is based on Infiniti's latest design language, and could influence the exteriors of the QX50 and QX70.
It features a larger Infiniti grille flanked by sleek LED headlights, short front and rear overhangs, raked windscreen, air-curtain-style vents behind the front wheels, and the characteristic Infiniti "crescent cut" C-pillar.
No technical details exist on the QX Sport Concept or the next generation QX50/QX70. It could pack a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6 paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission and AWD system that is found in other Infiniti sedans today.
