The Royal Enfield Himalayan has started arriving at dealerships ahead of its launch tomorrow. The model is expected to be priced between INR 1.65 lakhs and INR 1.85 lakhs (ex-showroom).
The RE Himalayan has a length of 2,190 mm, width of 840 mm, height of 1,360 mm, wheelbase of 1,465 mm, ground clearance of 220 mm, saddle height of 800 mm, kerb weight of 182 kg and fuel tank capacity of 15 litres.
The salient features of the motorcycle include a round headlamp, tall visor, single-tube handlebar with a crossbar, long-travel telescopic suspension, monoshock on swingarm, 300 mm front disc brake, a 240 mm rear disc brake, 90/90-21 front tyre, 120/90-17 rear tyre and spoke wheels. The Himalayan's instrument cluster includes an analog speedometer, tachometer and fuel gauge, and digital trip meter, odometer, clock, compass and ambient temperature indication.

The Himalayan is powered by an all-new 411 cc air-cooled single-cylinder SOHC engine with an oil-cooler that produces 24.5 PS at 6,500 rpm and 32 Nm at 4,000-4,500 rpm, mated to a five-speed transmission.
