Along with the introduction of the 2016 Ford EcoSport in the Thai market, Ford has announced the availability of an EcoSport Black Edition which brings exclusive cosmetic changes to the table.
The Black Edition, for namesake, gets a black painted grille, ORVM caps, alloy wheels and roof rack. The rest of the car is identical to the regular EcoSport, which comes in six colors Mars Red, Lunar Sky, Ingot Silver, Frozen White, Black Shadow and Candy red.
Although the interior hasn’t been revealed, it’s likely to be identical to the regular model. Features available include a SYNC 1 infotainment system, 6-speaker audio system, EPAS steering with Pull-Drift Compensation and automatic climate control.
The other change introduced in the 2016 Ford EcoSport is the support for E85 flex fuel for the 1.5 Ti-VCT engine, which produces 110 hp and 142 Nm of torque. It’s paired to a 6-speed Powershift automatic gearbox that is connected to the front wheels.
The EcoSport Black Edition will be launched at the Bangkok International Motor Show on March 23.
