Goes on sale in Europe from January 2016.
Toyota has debuted the 2016 Yaris Bi-Tone at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show (2015 IAA), with European sales starting in January 2016.
The Yaris Bi-Tone is based on the new Toyota Yaris Style Grade, available on the gasoline and hybrid variants of the hatchback. Compared to the regular variants, the Style Grade offers a Black honeycomb grille with satin chrome ornament, black seat upholstery and piano black inserts inside the cabin.
In addition, buyers opting for the Bi-Tone receive a metallic black 'wrap-around' exterior paint, available in colors of Platinum Bronze, Pearl White and Barcelona Red, with a metallic Black finish to the roof, A pillars, door mirrors, upper front wing and bonnet leading edge.
Inside, the Yaris Bi-Tone gets a black headliner, and a choice of three interior shades - all-Black, Warm Grey or Soft-gradation Grey.
Toyota is keen to point out that European sales of the Yaris has grown considerably in the last 4 years. From 144,000 units in 2011 to an anticipated 200,000+ units this year, the Yaris has also increased its market share in the B-segment from 4.1 percent to 6.6 percent.
The Yaris Hybrid was introduced in Europe in June 2012, and since Toyota has delivered 170,000 units of the same. The Hybrid variant accounts for 35 percent of all European Yaris sales.
