Comes with two engines and gearbox options.
The new Lifan 620 was showcased at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show last April.
The exterior has a sleek and smooth design with the face receiving a three slat chrome grille and elongated headlights that come with projector units and LED DRLs. The bumper is given a wide grille that is flanked by L-shaped fog lamps. The flanks feature sharp lines and dual-tone alloys. Completing the simple look at the rear are wraparound LED tail lights.
The interior gets a basic layout garnished with aluminum accents. The seats are wrapped in leather with the three-spoke steering wheel getting the same treatment. At the top of the center console are the AC vents, followed by the small LCD screen and controls for the audio and air-conditioning system.
Powering the Lifan 620 are the 1.5- and 1.6-liter engines with power outputs of 94 and 106 hp respectively. These can be paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT.
There is also an EV version of the 620 that is powered by an electric motor that generates 80 hp and 213 Nm of torque. Power to the motor is supplied by a 20 kWh battery which gives the EV a range of 155 kilometers and a top speed not exceeding 120 km/h.
