Jaguar Land Rover India has commenced bookings for the 2016 Range Rover Evoque which is scheduled to launch next month.
The 2016 Range Rover Evoque (facelift) was unveiled at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. It has received a revised styling, courtesy of new LED headlamps and DRLs, a honeycomb grille, larger air intakes, slim LED foglamps, vents on the bonnet, LED taillights, new roof-lip spoiler, smaller LED brake light, and a new hands-free function to open and close the tailgate by waving one's foot beneath the rear bumper.
The interior of the 2016 model is equipped with new materials and accents, a Head-Up Display, a Surround Camera System, a 17-speaker, 825 Watts Meridian Surround Sound System with an 8-inch touchscreen display, and a rear seat entertainment package.
The Range Rover Evoque facelift gets the brand new range of four-cylinder 'Ingenium' diesel engines in certain markets, however, the Indian version could continue with the 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel motor that produces 188 bhp and 420 Nm. It is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission that sends power to all wheels.
The Evoque is assembled in India at JLR's Pune facility. The same arrangement will continue with the Evoque facelift.
