Hyundai Grand i10X
Launched on June 13, the Hyundai Grand i10X is the company’s first ever sub-compact pseudo-crossover which is manufactured at the plant of Hyundai Motors India Limited (HMIL) in Chennai. It is exclusively sold in Indonesia at Rp 155,500,000.
Compared to the standard Hyundai Grand i10, the Grand i10X features extended black plastic lower bumpers with integrated silver skid plates, foglamps with LED DRL strips, side extensions, a chrome exhaust tip, black panel covering the C-Pillar for a “floating roof” impression, and a roof spoiler. Otherwise it’s identical to the standard Grand i10, which comes equipped with a console-mounted gear shift lever, 2-DIN MP3 player with 4 speakers, USB and AUX-in ports, driver-seat height adjustment, cooled glovebox and 256 liters of boot space.
Powering the Grand i10X is the same 1.2L Kappa dual VTVT petrol engine from the standard model, generating 83 PS at 6,000 rpm and 116 Nm at 4,000 RPM. It is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission only.
