2016 Fiat Toro interior – Rendering
It goes without saying that I’m a huge petrolhead and can apparently convert all my driving emotions into words you can read.
Based on Fiat Small Wide platform.
Brazilian publication, Autos segredos, has posted a render of the upcoming Fiat Toro pickup’s interior, which reveals a more upmarket, car-like design.
It draws cues from Fiat’s latest range of products, as seen in the steering wheel, dashboard and instrument cluster. Higher trims could feature FCA’s 5 inch UConnect infotainment system as standard as well as a large MID in the center of the instrument cluster.
The production version of the Fiat FCC4 Concept is likely to be based on the Fiat Small Wide platform sourced from the Fiat 500X. Engine options could include a 2.0L Multijet diesel or a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol paired to either a 6-speed manual as standard or a 9-speed automatic gearbox exclusive to higher trim levels. Also in the cards is an optional AWD system.
The Fiat Toro is expected to launch in Brazil in 2016, and compete against the Toyota Hilux, Ford Ranger and the Mitsubishi L200/Triton. It will also be exported to global markets where pick-up trucks are popular.
