Hyundai Creta to come in 4 variants, variant-wise features detailed - Report

Manual and automatic transmissions will be offered on the compact SUV.

According to a report on MotorOctane, the Hyundai Creta will come in four variants - Base, S, SX and SX (O) - and below is a list of the variant-wise features that will be offered. Its worth noting that Hyundai is yet to release any details with regards to the features, variants, or even engine options of the compact SUV.

The Creta for India will borrow its engines from the Verna.

Hyundai Creta Base: Foldable key, central locking, halogen headlights, engine immobilizer, 2-DIN music system and gear shift indicator.

Hyundai Creta S: Projector headlights, ABS, Bluetooth connectivity with 1 GB internal storage, steering mounted controls, height-adjustable driver's seat, driver airbag, reverse parking sensors, alloy wheels.

Hyundai Creta SX: Reverse parking camera in ECM (Electro-chromatic mirror), lane change indicator, dual airbags, leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearlever.

Hyundai Creta SX (O): push-button start with smart entry, touchscreen entertainment system, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

The SX (O) grade will receive a touchscreen infotainment system.

To recap, the Creta will come with petrol and diesel engines, with manual and automatic transmissions. However, an AWD model is not expected to be offered for the Indian market. The market launch of the Creta is scheduled for July 21, 2015.
