Both reach European dealerships this year.
Launched last year in the Japanese market, the Subaru Levorg is ready for its European debut. Hence the company has showcased the car at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, alongside the 2015 Subaru Outback which also reaches dealerships in the old continent this year.
The Levorg for the Japanese market measures 4,690 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, and 1,485 mm in height. It gets AWD, and could be offered with a choice between a 1.6-litre engine and a 2-litre unit. Both the engines are boxer (horizontally opposed) units, and come mated to CVT gearboxes. More details on the Euro spec Levorg is expected to release before its commercial launch.
The 2015 Outback made its appearance at the 2014 New York Auto Show, and will go on sale this year. The UK version, which launches on April 1, gets a 2-litre diesel engine that makes 148 hp and 350 Nm of torque, and a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 163 hp. Like on the Levorg, both engines are horizontally opposed, and are offered with either a 6-speed manual (for diesel only) or a CVT gearbox.
The Outback is priced starting at £27,995 (INR 26.70 lakhs) in the UK. You can read further on the Outback in the press release below.
