The Subaru Levorg has been showcased at the 66th Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA 2015) before it goes on sale in the UK this month. The European Levorg made its first public appearance in the continent at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year.
The Japanese automaker launched the Subaru Levorg in its home-country last year. The company has already announced its price for the UK as £27,495 (INR 28.09 lakhs), and deliveries are set to commence within this month.
To be made available in only one variant, the new Levorg, which is the successor to the Liberty GT sports wagon, is powered by an all-new four-cylinder 1.6-litre DIT (Direct Injection Turbo) petrol engine developing 170 PS maximum power and 250 Nm peak torque. The engine is a boxer (horizontally opposed) unit, linked to a Lineartronic CVT (automatic transmission). The acceleration timing of the Levorg is 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 8.9 seconds. Fuel economy of the AWD estate is 16.89 km/l (39.7 mpg), and CO2 emission rate is 164 g/km.
The features on the Levorg are 18-inch alloy wheels, All-Wheel Drive configuration, active torque vectoring, automatic headlights, rain-sensing wipers, keyless entry and start, dual-zone air-conditioning system, blue leather interior trims, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Satellite Navigation facility, reverse assist camera, Subaru Rear/Side Vehicle Detection (SRVD), blind spot warning system and also lane-change assist.
