Powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine.
Nissan of Thailand has showcased a limited edition version of its new pickup truck, the 2015 Nissan Navara in a King Cab avatar, at the 2014 Thailand Motor Expo.
The KC Calibre variant is powered by a 2.5-litre diesel engine that makes maximum power of 163 hp @ 3,600 rpm and maximum torque of 403 Nm at just 2,000rpm. It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard but a 7-speed automatic version is available, too. Looking beyond the Calibre line up, for the more challenging uses, there's a 4WD (Four Wheel Drive) variant, which is slightly more expensive than the Calibre range, but offers more power (190 hp) and torque (450 Nm).
The limited edition version had a few of the optional accessories fitted as a part of the Tough Package, like the chrome applique on the front, a chrome finish for the headlamps and the added front lower grille.
Nissan unveiled the Navara earlier this year, and since then, there have been reports that a 7-seat SUV, based on the same platform could make it to the market as well. Work is said to have begun on the vehicle, and if the early report is to be believed, it could take anywhere between 2-3 years for the SUV to reach the market.
