The Wagon R GS has its official sales launch on October 18 in Indonesia.
PT Suzuki Indomobil Sales (SIS) showcased the Suzuki Karimun Wagon R GS (what is known as the Maruti Stingray in India) at the ongoing 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS 2014). The Wagon R range in Indonesia now extends from the GA, GL, GX and Dilago (a special edition) trims to the GS.

According to SIS officials, the GS is the company's response to increasing customer interest for a modern family car with practicality and efficiency. Styling highlights extend to newly designed headlight clusters with projector lights, a silver-colored grille, a new front bumper with a larger airdam and chrome enclosed foglight enclosures and multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Where the Wagon R Stingray gets clear lens taillights in India, the Wagon R GS in Indonesia continues with its regular taillight setup. Inside, the car lacks steering mounted audio controls which are seen on the Indian model.
The Wagon R GS will have its market introduction on October 18, with on-road prices estimated at 105.9 million IDR (INR 5.35 lakhs) in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The car is powered by the same 1.0-liter three-cylinder K10B engine which produces 68 PS (67.04 bhp) and 90 Nm of torque, matched to a 5-speed manual transmission.
