Nothing much has changed in the VX save for a dual-tone interior like in the pre-facelift Mahindra Bolero. The rest of the vehicle remains untouched.
Positioned to target both utility and lifestyle segments, the Bolero Camper Gold VX offers comfort features such as power steering, air conditioning and seating for 5 passengers. Other noteworthy features include an independent front suspension, metallic exterior color options, radial tyres and double walled cargo box.
Power comes from the 2.6-litre MDI diesel engine (not the common-rail engine found in the facelifted Bolero) that produces 62 bhp and 195 Nm of torque. The transmission is a 5-speed manual unit.
The pickup has a payload capacity of 710 kg. The cargo box measures 1,481 mm in length, 1,532 mm in width and 750 mm in height.
The Mahindra Bolero Camper Gold VX is positioned below the Mahindra Genio Double Cab as the entry level 5-seater pickup in Mahindra's portfolio.
The Bolero Camper Gold VX is priced at INR 6.14 lakhs, ex-showroom Pune.
