We have been keeping a tab on the development of the Chevrolet Agile facelift, a hatchback targeted at the South American markets like Brazil and Argentina.
After having seen the spyshots of the test mules that were doing rounds in Brazil, a couple of images of the facelifted car were leaked online.
From what we see, the facelifted car's front fascia has become more presentable than the current car, thanks to the restyled headlamps, grille and bumper. The alterations are mild but the net result is a better looking car. The rear is also expected to undergo a slight revision. In addition to the changes, the new Agile comes with a new blue exterior color option.
On the inside, the car gets a new multifunction steering wheel. The interior trim has been improved and the equipment list has been enhanced. The new car gets cruise control, automatic headlights, dual airbags and ABS as standard fitments. The top end LTZ variant would get new 16" alloy wheels.
The hatchback which would sit a little below the Chevrolet Onix is likely to continue with the 1.4 litre flex fuel engine. The power output of the current car stands at 102bhp (while running on Ethanol).
The Chevrolet Agile is expected to be launched in Brazil soon. The starting price is estimated at 37,600 Reals (around Rs. 9.93 lakhs).
