Nissan has revealed the second offering in the Dayz range, called the 'Dayz Roox' at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013. The vehicle is scheduled to begin sales in the early part of next year.
The Dayz Roox is Nissan's entry into the super-height wagon category of Japan's minicar segment, and is based on the Dayz mini car which has sold over 30,000 units in the first month of its launch, the highest for any Nissan minicar.
Nissan says that the Dayz Roox features a design that exudes a sense of stability and agility, and the exterior design conveys that its interior would not be short on space. Some of the features used in the Dayz would also be made available to the Roox, such as the Around View Monitor (AVM) that assists while parking, a 'Super UV-cut heat insulated green glass' which filters 99 percent of UV rays from entering the cabin, a touchscreen auto climate control system and auto sliding-doors.
The Dayz Roox is the second Nissan model to emerge from NMKV, a joint venture company between Nissan and Mitsubishi.
